Finding Support

We have several thousand pages of website information that more often than not provides answers to most questions you might have about our products.  To get support, start by typing a single keyword or two into the "find" box on any of our website pages (near the upper-right corner).  You may then need to tab or hit return to do a search of our common information sources.

Support Information Collections

We make every effort to provide the information you need to pursue your projects, designs, and research as effectively as possible.  Below is a list of links to our reference material and concentrations for various products.

Contacting Support Staff

We do our best to provide nearly all answers to questions asked of support through additions or enhancements to our product pages and support information.  When you contact Acroname for technical support, be prepared with details of your purchase, what operating system you have, what has worked and what has not, etc.

Our contact information is listed under contacts in the main navigation bar of all our website pages.  Keep in mind that our engineers are also working on both contract work and new developments for robotics.  We may not have a live person available if you call.  You may want to try sending email for asynchronous help when our staff is able to respond to your questions.

Support Etiquite

We really want to help those who respect our business and who are doing the best they can to succeed with our products.  Here are some common things that help encourage positive and negative support interactions.

  • + The customer has invoice information from purchase
  • - The customer calls with 3 days before a project is due
  • + The customer provides all details (OS, purchase date).
  • - The question relates to an XYZ processor we don't sell or explicitly support.
  • + The question is specific.
  • - The customer is trying to do something with the product it wasn't designed for.
  • + The customer understands his/her compiler, environment, and operating system they have chosen to use.
  • - The customer's question is a re-phrasing of an assignment or project.
