Overview

Symonym is a real-time, rigid body simulation environment for modeling, viewing, and interacting both real-world and simulated environments.  The software is cross-platform and consists of the Symonym Free Player (aSymonym) and the aSymonymPackager command-line tool.

Symonym is an extensive set of software tools, plugins, and capabilities.  We have a complete symonym subsite dedicated to the symonym tools. 

We use Symonym internally every day to regression test our compilers, virtual modules, simulation tools, and the simulations themselves.  You can download the Free Symonym Player to observe, interact, and learn more.
