This is the 4cm omni-directional wheel with polyurethane rollers from North American Roller Products. These wheels are standard equipment on the BrainStem PPRK. They also make great tail casters. In fact, we use one as a caster on our Garcia robot. The polyurethane rollers offer improved traction on slick surfaces and short pile carpet when compared to omni-wheels with nylon rollers.
