The SRF485WPR is a single transducer ultrasonic ranger that uses a standard RS485 interface with a water resistant transducer. The sensor has a built in voltage regulation system allowing input power between 8 to 14 VDC. The sensing range is from 60 cm to 5 m (1.97 ft to 16.4 ft).

The SRF485WPR is based on the SRF02 design with a RS485 serial interface and a water resistant transducer. Multiple sensors (maximum of 127) can exist on a RS485 network once the device address is changed for each ranger. Every SRF485 is programmed at the factory with a unique 24 bit address. The address is written on the PCB of the sensor.

Programming through-holes
There is a set of 5 through-holes on the board used during manufacture to program the microcontroller. Do not connect anything to these through-holes as this will interfere with the range finder's operation.
