| More Details: The SRF01 ranger is an ultrasonic sensor utilizing a one-wire UART serial interface (3.3V and 5.0V tolerant). Information is both transmitted and received on the same data line. Up to 16 rangers can be placed on the same wiring once different addresses are assigned. Additionally, the ranger autocalibrates during normal operation. Two different operating modes are available when using the SRF01. The factory default mode is "Advanced Mode" which allows ranging all the way up to the transducer (0cm). In order for this operational mode, the ranger must take 5 readings out to a range of 30cm or more. After this happens, a lock bit is internally set. The "Standard Mode" eliminates the operating requirements imposed during "Advanced Mode" with a decrease in minimum operating range (18cm to 600cm).
Dimensions All dimensions are in inches and approximate.
