The SRF485 is based on the SRF02 design with a RS485 serial interface. The multiple sensors (maximum of 127) can exist on a RS485 network once the device address is changed for each ranger. Every SRF485 is programmed at the factory with a unique 24 bit address. The address is written on the PCB of the sensor.

Connections

A LED driving connector is built into the ranger with included resistors for each channel. Only a LED is necessary to be connected between the terminal and the Ground pin. Connections to the sensor are shown in the following.
