The UBG-04LX-F01 is a fast scanning laser range finder. Interfaces to both RS232 and USB are built into the sensor. The laser can sense up to 4 meters in distance with millimeter resolution.

The sensor includes necessary wiring hardware to interface to the sensor via a serial connection. Wires for RS232 communication are built into the sensor. A mini-USB connector is built into the top of the housing unit. If both connections are made at the same time with a host computer, the USB connection will have priority.
USB Drivers
Included with the sensor is a CD that includes test data results, communication specifications, demonstration software, an example project for Visual Studio and USB driver for Windows including Windows Vista.
