This sensor uses a 235KHz transducer with a 15 degree beamwidth to measure distances from 10cm to 120cm. Compared to the SRF04/08/10 sensors, its beam is much narrower. It can also cycle more quickly, taking up to 100 measurements per second.

The 235KHz ultrasonic signal of the SRF235 behaves differently than the 40KHz ultrasonic signal of the SRF04/08/10 sensors. Read the technical specifications before purchasing this sensor.
