Two high-quality servos actuate the axes through a series of ball-joints and linkages allowing the weight to be kept to a minimum at the top of the boom. This boom directly bolts into a Garcia robot and can also be used on any other robot with 2 servo outputs.

The central axis includes space for a 1/4-20 nylon bolt (included) that can be used to mount any camera with a standard tripod mount. Two 1/8" holes on mounting flanges are also available for general purpose mounting.

The linkages are adjusted to allow for maximum pan and tilt resolution while staying in the standard 1.0 ms to 2.0 ms pulse width of the standard RC servo PWM signal.

The frame of the boom is made of durable acrylic and the linkages are a combination of bronze bushings, brass fittings, nylon linkages, and stainless steel/aircraft aluminum pieces.

The boom raises the camera roughly 1 foot above the mount points.
