Definition:
#include <aLCD.tea>
| void aLCD_String( | string s); |
Parameters:
| s | - | The text string to display on an LCD screen. |
Return Value:
This routine does not return a value.
Description:
This routine displays the text input string on an LCD screen. The string can not be more than 7 characters. Longer strings must be displayed with multiple subroutine calls. The LCD must have an IIC interface. The user must define a value called ALCD_ADDR before including the aLCD.tea file. This value is the IIC address of the LCD display. The IIC baud rate may need to be lowered to achieve reliable communication with the LCD display. See the cmdVAL_SET or aPortIICBaud documentation for details. This function is compatible with most Matrix Orbital LCD modules and devices with similar command formats.
Example:
#define ALCD_ADDR 92
#include <aLCD.tea> /* after the define */
void main() {
aLCD_String("Hello.\n");
}
This would display the line "Hello." on the current output line on the LCD display.
