Parameters:

The variable to format and display as a hexadecimal number on an LCD screen.

Return Value:

This routine does not return a value.

Description:

This routine formats the input variable as a 2-digit hexadecimal number and displays the result on an LCD screen.  The LCD must have an IIC interface.  The user must define a value called ALCD_ADDR before including the aLCD.tea file.  This value is the IIC address of the LCD display.  The IIC baud rate may need to be lowered to achieve reliable communication with the LCD display.  See the cmdVAL_SET or aPortIICBaud documentation for details.  This function is compatible with most Matrix Orbital LCD modules and devices with similar command formats.

Example:

This would add the characters "80" to the current output line on the LCD display.
