char aIRCM_GetRemoteStatus( char addr);

Parameters:

addr - IIC address of the specified IRCM.

Return Value:

A char with the contents of the remote-write status register for the specified IRCM.

Description:

This routine reads the remote status register in an IRCM. This register provides information regarding the validity of remote node communication. See the documentation for the IR Communication Module for more details regarding IRCM register functions.

Note:

This routine is defined as a macro that calls the aI2C_ReadChar function.

Example:

#include <aIRCM.tea> c=aIRCM_GetRemoteStatus((unsigned char)0xC0);

This would write the contents of the IRCM remote status register to variable c.
