char aIRCM_GetRCType( char addr);

Parameters:

addr - IIC address of the specified IRCM.

Return Value:

A char with the contents of the remote-control type register for the specified IRCM.

Description:

This routine reads the remote-control type register in an IRCM. This register tells what kind of IR remote control transmitted data. See the documentation for the IR Communication Module for more details regarding IRCM register functions.

Note:

This routine is defined as a macro that calls the aI2C_ReadChar function.

Example:

#include <aIRCM.tea> c=aIRCM_GetRCType((unsigned char)0xC0);

This would write the contents of the IRCM remote-control type register to variable c.
