Parameters:

addr

IIC address of the specified IRCM.

Return Value:

A char with the contents of the remote-control status register for the specified IRCM.

Description:

This routine reads the remote-control status register in an IRCM.  This register tells when new data from an IR remote control is available.  See the documentation for the IR Communication Module for more details regarding IRCM register functions.

Example:

c=aIRCM_GetRCStatus((unsigned char)0xC0);


This would write the contents of the IRCM remote-control status register to variable c.
