char aIRCM_GetExtDataFlags( char addr);

Parameters:

addr - IIC address of the specified IRCM.

Return Value:

A char with the contents of the extended data flag register for the specified IRCM.

Description:

This routine reads the extended data flag register in an IRCM. This register tells which extended data registers are valid. See the documentation for the IR Communication Module for more details regarding IRCM register functions.

Note:

This routine is defined as a macro that calls the aI2C_ReadChar function.

Example:

#include <aIRCM.tea> c=aIRCM_GetExtDataFlags((unsigned char)0xC0);

This would write the contents of the IRCM extended data flag register to variable c.
