The Packet:

Description:

This command assigns a new value to a writable system parameter.  There is no reply packet.  A parameter ID or value that is out of range will generate an error message.  The allowable values for each writable parameter and what they mean are listed below.

This command saves changes of the writable system parameters to internal RAM, but not to the internal memory.  The cmdVAL_SAV command writes these parameters to the internal memory.

3 = 19200
4 = 38400
5* = 57600
6* = 115200
7** = 31250
5 Heartbeat Mode 0 = Link dependent
1 = Internal
6 Boot Reflex Flag 0 = Issue no reflex at power-up
1 = Issue reflex 127 at power-up
7 Link-down Reflex Flag 0 = Issue no reflex at Link-down
1 = Issue reflex 126 at Link-down
15 VM Boot File 1 valid file ID to enable, invalid file ID to disable
16 VM Boot File 2 valid file ID to enable, invalid file ID to disable
17 VM Boot File 3 valid file ID to enable, invalid file ID to disable
18 VM Boot File 4 valid file ID to enable, invalid file ID to disable
19* Serial Relay Flag 0 = Do not act as serial relay
1 = Act as serial relay
20* Quiet Mode Flag 0 = normal mode at start-up
1 = enable Quiet Mode at start-up
21* Serial Timeout 1-255 (25.6ms increment)
22*** Raw PWM Frequency prescaler and value (internal use)

** Feature available in GP 1.0 modules starting with Build 15.

*** This feature is only available in BrainStem module GP 2.0.
