PadADDR -

Address for scratch pad pointer.

Description:

This command sets an internal scratchpad address register.  This register is only used for IIC slave transmit operations.

A device on the IIC bus may perform a master read operation of the scratch pad bytes in a BrainStem module with the slave transmit feature.  The scratchpad address register auto-increments after each byte is read.  This register automatically rolls back to 0 when the read address reaches the number of scratchpad bytes.

The scratchpad read feature makes it easier for one Stem to request data from another in a BrainStem network.  It also provides a more convenient method for other types of devices with IIC capability to request data from a BrainStem module.
